A. Rules & Regulation to join the Scouts and Guides Movement in ISGO
Some of the important rules & regulation of ISGO are as under please go through carefully before joining/ membership of the ISGO-
i.) Scouts and Guides is worldwide movement started by BP in England and same continued in India too. Every youth is always welcomed to join or come to know-how about Scouts and Guides. Joining is allowed through membership only, for membership one has to apply online and have to submit the fixed valued D.D. of Rs 45000/- in the name of “Indian Scouts and Guides Organisation”, payable at ‘Delhi’, at the time of receiving the membership, which is totally non refundable. This amount is charged to meet cost of training, camping and certification of members and receiving towards volunteer support/ donation. The member applicant will be provided with the proper receipt of this amount.
ii.) ISGO having all requisite permissions and allowed to work world wide, but presently working in PAN India only. We have no overseas operation as on date.
iii.) To meet routine work related to the movement, we always in need of employees who can give their services to the nation & societies on the basis of ISGO policies.
iv.) To apply for any job, one has to go through the website and fill the online form to register. The registration fees are Rs 900/-. The applicant will be provided with the proper receipt of this amount.
v.) Applicant has to be very careful while applying, if the form is found to be incomplete or any error or filled any wrong information, then the form will be rejected without explaining any reason.
vi.) After apply all the applicant can download there admit card for online written examination. All applicants have to appear in-person for the written examination on center venue and dates mentioned in admit card.
vii.) After qualifying in the written exam, result will be displayed on the website and can be downloaded from there. After that passed candidates will be called for personal interview. Based on the both exam (written test & personal interview) final selection list will be prepared.
viii.) According to our selection list, all qualified applicant will be invited at our national training center & camp, for medical & physical test. And once is qualified our medical & physical test will be eligible for camping cum adventure training. And rest all non-eligible (failure) candidates will be sent back to their home.
ix.) After the selection in medical & physical test candidates will be kept hold in national training center & camp for training of maximum thirty (30) days. Before start of the training all applicants have to sign their Indemnity Bond.
x.) After completion of this thirty (30) days training all candidates become our scout cadet, they will be granted ten (10) days compulsory rest on completion.
xi.) Then again sixty (60) days field training will be started in schools assigned to them under supervision of our Scout Masters/ Asst. Scout Masters/ Guide Captains/ Asst. Guide Captains.
xii.) Once cadet complete their field training of sixty (60) days, they become our trained Scouters (manpower), then they will be deployed (as per our offer letter given to them) in the schools Pan India anywhere on eleven (11) months probation for the job.
xiii.) Before starting probation job, all applicant have to submit their xerox copy of resume, all testimonials, ten (10) passport size color photos, experience certificate (if any), KYC, and Indemnity Bond Medical Fitness & Training Certificates (duly provided by ISGO in camp), and original copy of Police Verification Certificate, No Bribe Affidavit, Declaration Form, Vernacular Form & Camp Feedback Form duly self signed by the applicant.
xiv.) It is NOT necessary how much time it will take to be deployed after training. Ideally, we are deploying to the Scouters within 10-30 days after completion of the field training.
xv.) Any kind of misbehave, misconduct, abusive language, arguments with seniors, negligence about trainer’s orders or any indiscipline action during the training or entire service will not be tolerated, and if found doing so, the cadet(s) will be terminated with immediate effect and sent back to their home.
xvi.) Smoking, consumption of alcohol, tobacco, drugs or any kind of intoxication is strictly prohibited. If anyone is found doing so will be terminated with immediate effect and sent back to their home.
xvii.) We have NO any hidden cost or charge. Therefore NO need to pay any amount to anyone in bribe regarding this job with ISGO. The candidate will be selected purely on the merit basis after completing all tests, interviews & examination.
xviii.) If anyone pays any kind of amount in bribes to anyone from the ISGO or other than ISGO, the person who is offering or receiving will only be responsible; in ISGO we will not be responsible for that.
xix.) If anyone in ISGO found guilty for any kind of bribe or illegal transaction or malpractices, strict action will be taken against them by ISGO management and will be taken legally according to IPC of India.
xx.) The probation period of trainee under ISGO is eleven months. And the service bond period will be of three years.
xxi.) The entire trainee will avail all the facilities and benefits of ISGO after the completion of probation period.
xxii.) In the probation period the trainee will be paid only for the working days as stipend. The trainee will not be paid anything extra apart of stipend amount.
xxiii.) The appraisal of the candidate will be done on the basis of their performance, remarks from the school & report submitted by their reporting senior(s), twice in a every financial year. And promotion will be granted accordingly.
xxiv.) Trainees have to follow the rules, laws and oath of the worldwide scouting.
xxv.) Denying the rules and regulations, not adhering policies and guidelines of ISGO will be considered as offence.
xxvi.) Grouping or majority or monopoly will NOT be tolerated against organisation or any individual, will be considered as offence. If such kind of thing happens, then that individual or the whole group will be evicted immediately without any prior notice or explanation. And legal action can also we initiated against them.
xxvii.) All the employees, trainees, members, individuals or anyone associated with ISGO in any form have to inform at-least ninety (90) days before leaving the organization. Leaving without information will led them to pay the penalty or fine depending on the losses of the organization.
xxviii.) The whole process of hiring/ recruitment will be done by the General Headquarter only. And training will be provided at our national training center & camp only.
